Diaphragm Valve

Gencel sanitary diaphragm valve is made of SS304/SS316L stainless steel with a hygienic design and clamp connection. It provides reliable flow control for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotech sanitary piping systems with excellent corrosion resistance and CIP/SIP compatibility.

There are also the following standards and materials to choose from:

1.Stainless steel body can be selected from SS304,316,SS316L and other materials;

2.It can be pressed by PFA and FEP particles;

3.You can provide linings such as conductive electrostatic PFA/FEP/ETFE.

Application:

The food-grade ETFE particles are made of sintering through high-temperature molds.The surface is smooth and smooth,which is in line with the sanitary structure.The stainless steel body adopts  aspecial  groove process,which can be closely fitted with the stainless steel body.There will be no curl or cracking and corrosion in the long-term use.It can transport a strong chemical corrosive medium,which can resist high temperature,vacuum and anti-static.

Sanitary Diaphragm Valve FAQ

Q1: What is a sanitary diaphragm valve?

A sanitary diaphragm valve is a hygienic valve that uses a flexible diaphragm to control fluid flow while preventing contamination in clean processing systems.

Q2: What materials are used for sanitary diaphragm valves?

Sanitary diaphragm valves are commonly manufactured from SS304, SS316 and SS316L stainless steel with PFA, FEP or ETFE diaphragm options.

Q3: Where are sanitary diaphragm valves used?

They are widely used in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical processing industries.

Q4: What is the difference between a diaphragm valve and a ball valve?

A diaphragm valve provides better hygiene and contamination prevention, while a ball valve is mainly designed for fast on/off flow control.

Q5: Can sanitary diaphragm valves be used for CIP systems?

Yes. Sanitary diaphragm valves are designed for CIP and SIP applications requiring high cleanliness and sterilization.
