Manual Diaphragm Valve

Gencel manual diaphragm valve is a sanitary valve designed for hygienic and high-purity fluid handling applications. Made from 304 or 316L stainless steel, the valve features a diaphragm that isolates the process medium from the valve stem and upper actuator components. This design helps reduce contamination, prevent media leakage and simplify cleaning.

The valve is available with sanitary clamp, welded, threaded or flanged connections and can be configured with EPDM or PTFE diaphragm materials. With sizes from 1 inch to 4 inches (DN25–DN100), it is suitable for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, dairy, biotechnology and other sanitary processing systems.

The diaphragm is closed under normal state, and that moment the diaphragm clung to the valve body cavity, and closing off the flow path through the pipeline.

When the diaphragm valve have the requirement to clean or open,the valve stem moves upwards according to the manual or pneumatic actuator equipment, spherical diaphragms naturally bend upwards,so that the valve is open and reach the requirement of clean and open.

The diaphragm make the lower body cavity and the upper chamber separated from the valve cover;so that the stem at the top of the diaphragm ,disc media and other parts from corrosioaeliminating the need for packing structure.and no media leaks.the optimize valve body made the cleaning liquid flow out totally, so that don’ t have any entrapment.
